My baby Madison modeling for me!

Posted by Picasa
After working all after noon at home on the chasing tools I forgot to bring on Wednesday, they are beginning to look like real tools. And then thinking about tools, I went on line to Valentins site. What beautiful work he does. I called his number but didn't leave a message. I'll email him about his prices. On ebay I searched 'chasing tools' and found some really amazing designs on antique chasing tools c.1800. I'm wondering about the design criteria for the c&r project. I'll ask you on Monday Tara!
My job for today is to get the pics I took of my youngest wearing my model for the 'ex in motion'. So wish me luck. I never know if its the computer not working or me not working it right. ugh!
I recieved the steel rods yesterday also, 3 small and 1 more medium. I'll bring them on Monday.

I've had fun looking at all the blogs and notes posted by our class. And now its time for me to get into what I know I can do.

I'm feeling better just thinking of what I know I can do, instead of going All 'out of the box'! I learned from our second project, I don't have to include Everything and Every idea. Yes Liz, I am listening.

I was watching the Exhibition in Motion in Detroit again on Tara's blog and noticed what I really didn't feel good about; necklaces looking great walking toward you, and feeling so disappointed as I watched them walk away. The back of the piece can and should look as exciting as the front. So this is one thing my work will show, when I figure out just what that will be.

I've been thinking fall, pine cones, acorns all the stuff you find when playing outside with the kids. We'd come in and make bird feeders out of the pine cones (with peanut butter, remember?) I love to see the wheat blowing in the wind in the fields, and the flowers as they start to dry up, hydrangea's, those mini lanterns...but in reality, if I use the real thing I'll just end up sneezing...so I found these straw leaves in subtle fall shades with beautiful movement.
I'm thinking of a necklace with the feel of a scarf, draping off to the side and over the shoulder, and of course across the back.
I have some copper that I can use, but I hate the smell of that. (Is there a coating or varnish that might cover the smell up?)
Well I'm off to go manipulate something into a necklace, see ya!

searching for my class mates!

If by some chance you get to this point Tara,... you are good!
Just so you know, I've started following 'Kim Days" jewelry buzz blog... and I was able to get out of it too.
I am having a hell of a time finding you or any one else.
Maybe I can get a bit of help on Wednesday!
See Ya!

I don't have a clue as to how in the hell to add a pic. I'm not even sure where in the hell it is!
I did it. I'm bloging.
